TeleFinder User TCP Modem Strings
You can control TeleFinder User TCP with Hayes command strings, just like you control a modem. With TeleFinder you should use the built-in "TeleFinder User TCP" or "NetConnect" Modem Setup. If neither are found, use these strings: Wake Up string “ATZ”, Initialization string “AT”. Set TeleFinder's baud rate to 57.6K, no flow control, adjust bps off. TeleFinder User TCP does not recognize "&" or "\" commands.
Connecting to a specific TCP port
TeleFinder User TCP can connect TeleFinder through any TCP port number. By default TeleFinder User TCP will communicate using TCP port #1474. You can make a connection through a specific port number by adding the port number to the dial string. Separate the port number from the domain name or IP address with a semicolon.
The following sample dial string makes a connection to the Spider Island BBS on port 23: "@spiderisland.com;23"
